An Evening Meditation

A non-denominational evening of seated meditation. We’ll gather, sit in stillness and silence for a half-hour, have a 5 minute break, then sit another half-hour and then close. Simple bells to mark the time.

Meditation is a very powerful practice to share in groups, for many reasons – including support in motivation, and increased focus and energy. Let’s work together!

We’re going to keep it sparse and simple – there will be no mantras, chanting, figurines, etc. – just us, sitting together.

6-6:30p Brief intro to meditation available for those who want one, including posture assistance and a simple yet very effective practice.
6:30-7:45 Sit and closure.

Wear comfy non-binding clothes, and bring a cushion if you have one, or a couple of towels to fold up. Yoga blankets and back jack chairs are available.

Donation requested is $5-10, all proceeds to go to co-luminate for use of the lovely space.
